SoPro, AC is a not-for-profit corporation that assembles young professionals in a social setting, providing unique opportunities for young professionals to connect with one another to advance their careers. SoPro, AC was founded in 2012 when Michael Gibson, Sheila Hughes and Michael Salad organized an informal happy hour in Atlantic City. By spreading the word to other local professionals, they were pleasantly surprised that so many young people in the community were eager to meet other local professionals. Mike, Sheila & Mike recognized that there was a desire for more events and networking opportunities so they organized more events and attendance began to grow.

 

SoPro, AC hosts events in the Atlantic County area every one to two months, bringing together hundreds of professionals in a fun, business-casual setting. The organization hosts events that bring together professionals from not only the Atlantic County area but throughout the State of New Jersey as well as Philadelphia and New York City.  Events are free and are open to every one of all ages and backgrounds. Members are encouraged to get to know one another, expand their networks, and build relationships beyond simply passing out business cards.
